Lani Muche,who specializes in warbird photography, has been a professional photographer for over twenty years. In addition to having a book of photographs published, her work appears regularly in several aviation publications and now also appears in on-line magazines, CDs and calendars. She has received awards in numerous competitions and her work is currently on display in a number of museums and private aviation collections. It is also used frequently in advertising and airshow programs
A native of California and a long time resident of Los Angeles, Lani began her career after graduating from The University of Southern California. She now travels extensively with her husband Jim, an aviation writer, constantly seeking new opportunities to photograph warbirds. As well as photographing these aircraft she and her husband also work and crew on several of them. Because she photographs exclusively aircraft, and in particular warbirds, these travels have taken her throughout the Southwestern United States. She prefers aircraft in their natural element and has become best known for her in-air portraits.
